(2)申請費。

申請費的交費方式有三種，一種是用信用卡交，一般在網(wǎng)申的最后交，當然也有的像BRANDEIS和RUTGERS可以在紙申請的時候填好信用卡的號碼和過期日寄過去再讓學校在那邊扣的，另外一種是辦匯票，個人認為能用信用卡交的就不要去辦匯票，因為有交易成本，中國銀行是22元/張。

(3)推薦信。

基本上美國的學校都有自己的推薦表，這也是申請人過程中最麻煩碰到的問題，它不外乎：

1、要找老師寫推薦信已經(jīng)很煩了，還要他填推薦表

2、申請的學校沒有確定下來，要老師填好幾次

對于問題1，我想最好的解決方法就是找好老師，和他說明情況，讓他授權(quán)你寫，此上計也;準備4-5份推薦表，讓他寫，目的讓他有過推薦你的印象，然后再請宿舍其它G們幫忙填其它推薦表，你老師不可能記得推薦你去過哪些學校吧?此中計也;實在沒辦法，老師太嚴謹只好選出你最重點申請的學校讓他寫，當然不可能太多，他會煩的，此下計也。

對于問題2，我想任何一個深思熟慮的申請人都應該盡早的收集學校信息，如學校的GPA要求、GT要求、系的研究方向、資金情況、申請費等等，從而及早定下申請學校，我個人覺得最好在9月初定下申請學校，定下學校的好處就是你可以開始搞推薦信的事情了。

我把推薦信列于申請中的所有環(huán)節(jié)的第一位的原因很簡單，老師很煩的，越早解決越好，本人去年10月初定下學校后，10月中找老師搞推薦，11月初老師寫完所有推薦信。11月底-12月才開始寄出材料，結(jié)果1月左右才到達申請國，失去先動優(yōu)勢，此一不利也;申請過程中有很多很煩的事情，如填表(我認為這個最煩)、套詞、改PS等等，這些可以和自己急，但推薦信你總不能和老師急吧?此二不利也。

關(guān)于用ACROBAT填推薦表，我覺得這里有一個很重要的問題。就是這張表肯定是你先填說放棄看推薦信的權(quán)力再給老師的，因此不可能用PDF填，怎么可能你和你的老師用同一部機呢?還是你先在電腦上編輯完了再發(fā)給老師，然后他再接著你編輯后的PDF文件繼續(xù)編輯?這是個很明顯的邏輯性問題了，再說PDF填表很煩，個人建議不要用，就手填吧，而且中國老師有幾個會用ACROBAT的?

很多推薦表都有填表和問答型式，其中填表型式容易，但你最好不要個個都打5%或2%那樣的，除非你認為你的確很牛，GPA很高、有很多經(jīng)歷。而問答式我認為許多老師是不可能幫你一個問題一個問題答的，所以一般就和推薦信的正文附在一塊就行了，實在不行就寫一句“Please see my attached letter for detail”(當然，不能每個人都這樣寫吧，不然老外會覺得中國人怎么個個都心靈相通)
